The ribs and rib tips were good. The barbecue sauce and fried okra was excellent. Service was fast, professional and great. Will definitely try again if I'm in the area. I enjoyed it!
I love dry ribs but the BBQ sauce is out of this world delicious! If you see an over full parking lot it's for a reason. I recommend you stop to find out.

Great food season very well. Service is good too never had a problem with any thing. This is the only place I get bbq from. The ambiance is not really there but I always get take out so it don't bother me.
Sylvester's food still grilled on an outside grill. The taste is a true grill taste. I love grilled food is why I chose to eat here.
This is great food. Chicken , Beef, Pork, ribs or sides...it's all amazing. Ribs are my favorite.
So good I don't even have pictures because we cleaned our plates before I could snap anything. Ribs are the best I've EVER eaten. And I've lived in Texas, on the East Coast and AZ. Nothing even compares to Sylvester's! Don't even need the sauce although it too is delicious. I dip fries in it. Baked beans were top notch and the turkey leg is smoked to perfection. Wish they still had their lemonade but they're right next door to a gas station so you can just pop in there. Best BBQ in the country!
Wow best damned BBQ of my life ! Smoked, you can taste the earth in each clean bite. Generous portions, got 1/2 slab and rib tips plate w 2 sides, could prob feed 4 people. Get the big sweet vinegar onions. Sauce comes on the side and is so unique: caramel and dark, molasses. Got a bottle of that too !
Yum yum! Good ole smoked meats and traditional barbeque sides! You know when you pull up to the parking lot and there are no spaces, the food will be the bomb. I stood in line waiting behind six or seven people as the man in front of me complained that he would pass out if he didn't eat soon. He even suggested that I would too! *crying laughing* I finally reached the cashier after staring down the lemonade canister for fifteen minutes. The lemonade looked heavenly, and it did not disappoint. I am tempted to drive back there now for some, but I digress. I also ordered a rib tip plate with cole slaw and french fries. The cole slaw had much too much dressing for my taste, but it was decent. The fries were simple crinkle cut. The tasty tips beckoned me to nibble on them on my drive back home, and I obliged. I love that the meat was served without sauce. I don't usually eat it. The meat was so good, it didn't need sauce. Really good southern barbeque. I look forward to trying the smoked turkey on my next visit.
